The tool offers good compatibility with macOS, and unlike some of the competitors, it looks like a real Mac program. We were also warned when we opened a disk image with a malicious installer.

Intego’s Mac Internet Security X9 suite combines VirusBarrier with NetBarrier to create a pair of utilities designed to catch and kill malware threats, and spot potential intrusion attempts from outside as well as outgoing attempts from rogue software. VirusBarrier from Intego is well known among Mac users, with the solution being one of the first virus scanners on the Mac.
